- Normal Pregnancy Scan Frequency
- 1st Trimester
– For dating.
– Repeat scan 2 weeks for unsure of date (USOD).
20 Weeks
– To look for fetal development/abnormality.
– Normal Maximum Vertical Pocket (MVP): 2-8 cm.
28 Weeks
– To look for placenta site / presentation / AFI.
– If breech, repeat at 32 weeks. Refer if still breech.
– Normal AFI: 8-20cm. Refer if not.
36 Weeks
– To look for presentation / AFI / estimated fetal weight (EFW).
