* Acyclovir and Tamiflu are included in the Antibiotic section for simplification.
Age < 1 Month:
- If fever, refer TRO Neonatal Sepsis.
- Do not give Supp. PCM.
Age < 6 Months
- Most medicines are contraindicated except PCM and certain antibiotics (≥3 months).
- 6 months+ can start certain meds with caution.
Contraindicated < 2 Years
- Runny Nose: Piriton (Alt: Cetirizine/Desloratadine)
- Cough: Benadryl, Paedicof, Carbocisteine, Dextromethorphan
Alt: Neb Saline only - Vomit: Promethazine & Gravol
Minimum Age Limits
Colimix ≥ 6m
Cetirizine ≥ 6m
Desloratadine ≥ 1y
Buscopan ≥ 6y
